Austin’s Neighbors
in Comfort Since 2009
Evergreen Heating and Air is a locally owned heating and cooling company serving homeowners across Austin and the surrounding communities. We started with one truck and a simple idea: treat every customer’s home the way we’d treat our own. More than fifteen years later, that idea still guides everything we do.
One truck and a simple idea.
Evergreen Heating and Air was founded in 2009 by Mike Hollis, an Austin native and HVAC technician who got tired of seeing homeowners confused by vague quotes and pushed into repairs they didn’t need. He started the company from his garage in Georgetown with his wife, Sarah, answering phones and handling the scheduling.
Word spread the old-fashioned way, from neighbor to neighbor. Today we’re a team of more than 30 technicians, installers, and office staff, but we’ve kept the same approach: show up on time, explain the problem plainly, and give you a fair price before any work begins.
We chose the name Evergreen because we want to be the company you can rely on in every season, whether it’s a triple-digit August afternoon or a surprise January freeze.
More than fifteen years of showing up.

Meet the team
Our technicians are licensed, background-checked, and carefully trained. They arrive in clearly marked trucks, in uniform, and ready to explain everything they find. Behind them, our office team is here to answer questions, schedule appointments, and make the process easy.
Giving back to Austin
We’re proud to call this community home. Each year, we sponsor local youth sports teams, offer discounts to veterans and first responders, and donate a free air conditioning system to a family in need.
